Four Hand Texas (archived)
a.k.a. Texas 42

Forty-two (42) is a four player card-like game played with double-six dominos. It employs bidding and trumps and was sometimes called Four Hand Texas in its earlier days.

It was "invented" in Texas in the late 1800s when card games were considered inappropriate in some Christian associations. (Domino games were okay.)
